After a standout show on 12/29/97, the band gave a loose, funky performance on the second night of their three-night holiday stand at MSG on 12/30 with a show-opening "Sneakin' Sally Thru The Alley" and a playful, non-stop second set that highlighted a sublime "AC/DC Bag", "McGrupp And The Watchful Hosemasters" and "Harpua" which introduced elements of the New Year's Eve Udder Ball gag and Tom Marshall's appearance for Phish's first and only cover of The Proclaimer's "I Wanna Be (500 Miles)". A deep, four-song encore completed a curfew breaking second set.
Paul Languedoc's 2-track soundboard mix, fully remastered by Fred Kevorkian is available now for download at LivePhish.com (MP3 and FLAC) and on CD as part of the LivePhish series, packaged in an innovative and earth friendly (fully recycled) folding softcase digi-pak. Video (with fully sync'd soundboard audio) is also available at LivePhish.com. We've created specially priced bundles for CD+MP3, CD+VIDEO, and FLAC+VIDEO.

On November 2, 2007 during gig at Burlington, Vermont's Club Metronome, Page McConnell joined PBS (George Porter Jr., Russell Batiste Jr., and Brian Stoltz) on stage for part of their scheduled performance. The energy that Page brought to the Trio that night created an immediate buzz among live music fans and the show took on an instant legendary status.
Fueled by the positive chatter and the chance to collaborate with three incredible improvisational musicians, in September of 2008 Page McConnell joined PBS for a handful of dates which are all now featured at LivePhish.com.

We're pleased to announce Phish At The Roxy, a brand new 8-CD box set, showcasing three complete shows - fully mastered soundboard recordings, with six sets of music, featuring seventy-eight unique songs with three special guests - in stores November 18th, and available for pre-order now at Phish Dry Goods.
Recorded Live February 19th, 20th and 21st, 1993, this run at the intimate Roxy Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia set the stage for many classic tripartite celebrations to follow. With the second show's near-instant legendary status cemented among fans due largely to a non-stop second set, At The Roxy captures a magical moment for Phish and their audience during a period of peak songwriting and experimentation.
The 8-CD box set is the first complete multiple-show release since Hampton Comes Alive and the 1998 Island Tour.
Anyone who pre-orders the box set from Dry Goods will receive a bonus CD featuring just under 80-minutes of previously unreleased music from Phish's 3/28/92 Variety Playhouse performance in Atlanta, GA. An accidental indoor flood forced the band to cut the show short and forego a normal second set.
Long considered a prequel to the landmark Roxy Theatre shows in 1993, this abbreviated show (a remastered audience recording, as no soundboard recording exists) is the perfect companion to the 8-CD box set. If you've already pre-ordered from Dry Goods, the bonus CD will automatically be added to your order.
For a complete tracklisting, or to pre-order, please click here.
In addition, you can pre-order (available for download on November 18th) MP3 and FLAC versions of At The Roxy at LivePhish.com. MP3/CD Bundle options are available. -

When Phish played Virginia Beach in 1997, LeRoi came on stage and started playing three saxophones at once and set off the most hilarious chain of events. Within minutes, Page was playing four of his keyboards with his hands and feet. I had three guitars on and drumsticks in my hand banging on Fish's drums, and Mike was playing two basses. It was just a phenomenal moment! And I remember LeRoi laughing with his mouth full of saxophones.
We miss you LeRoi and thank you for the joy you brought all of us.

Trey Anastasio will debut "Time Turns Elastic", a new piece co-written for electric guitar and orchestra with long-time collaborator Don Hart, on September 27 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. The piece will be performed with Orchestra Nashville (formerly Nashville Chamber Orchestra) and conducted by musical director Paul Gambill who originally worked with Trey for his June 2004 orchestral performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
The centerpiece of Trey's writing during his time off from the road, "Time Turns Elastic" features long, orchestral passages intertwined with epic guitar lines and vocals -- written in the same vein as Divided Sky, Guyute and You Enjoy Myself. With the electric guitar at the forefront, "Time Turns Elastic" pushes the limits of orchestral music and delivers a complete articulation of Orchestra Nashville’s mission to integrate disparate musical styles that challenge and inspire audiences.
Tickets for this very special debut performance will be available through a real time presale beginning Friday, July 18th at 10:00am (Central Time) and ending Thursday, July 24th at 5:00pm (Central Time) at http://treytickets.rlc.net

Given the volume of speculation and rumors that have bubbled up recently, I have been asked to make a statement…Here goes.
For me, the last four years have been great. I’ve spent quality time with my family and have watched my daughter grow. I took great pleasure and pride in writing and recording an album. I’m living a healthy lifestyle. I travel as little as possible and I sleep in my own bed. It took a couple of years after the break up to begin talking to my old band mates, but once the conversations began to flow it wasn’t long before the friendships were rekindled. And I can honestly say that I’m closer with all of them now then I’ve ever been in our 20-year relationship.
Recently the conversations have turned toward the possibility of spending some time together. Currently many of us have plans and projects already in the works, most notably Mike, who made a great album and is about to hit the road in support of it. Given that I might not even see some of the guys for the next six months, I would say that the announcement of a reunion is premature. However, later this year we hope to spend some time together and take a look at what possible futures we might enjoy. In fact the only real decision that has been made is that when we do get together, it will only be the four of us, hopefully with no distractions. I am really looking forward to that.
I want to say just a few more things. The prospect of Phish reuniting is something I consider very seriously, and I think about it a lot. And lastly, as always, there is plenty of misinformation floating around. Try not to focus too much on secondhand sources and random gossip. If there is anything real to announce, it will come from the four of us as a group.
Until then,
Page

We're thrilled to announce Phish Walnut Creek, a brand new 2-DVD set, in stores August 5th, and available for pre-order now at Phish Dry Goods.
On July 22, 1997, Phish performed the second show of their U.S. summer tour at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, NC through a torrent of rain, thunder and lightning. Rather than cancel the gig, the band played on with the music mirroring the peaks in the storm's intensity. Highlights include "Down With Disease" that slowly segues into "Mike's Song" - the first and only time these two classic tunes were ever paired together in such a way-as well as "Taste," complete with near Biblical thunder and lightning display.
Overall the show is remembered as a significant example of Phish's hallmark approach to group improvisation with the performances here characterized by an exceptionally democratic and refined balance of four musical voices. This 2-DVD set features more than 2 1/2 hours of 5-camera footage with 5.1 Dolby Surround or optional stereo sound.
Anyone who pre-orders the DVD from Dry Goods will receive "Phish: Left Nuts," a bonus CD featuring more than 75 minutes of previously unreleased music from Phish's past performances at Walnut Creek, produced specifically for this release.

Proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit the Seven Below Arts Initiative, established by Trey in 2006 to foster artistic development and support arts education in the state of Vermont.
The album was recorded at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ on December 30th and 31st of 2006, coming at the end of the band's holiday tour. The raw energy of a well-oiled band at the top of its game permeated the set as the composer/vocalist/guitarist led The Undectet - comprised of Tony Hall (bass, vocals), Ray Paczkowski (keyboards), Jeff Sipe (drums), Christina Durfee (vocals, synthesizer), Jennifer Hartswick (vocals, trumpet), Peter Apfelbaum (saxophone, flute), Russell Remington (saxophone, flute), Jeff Cressman (trombone), Dave Grippo (saxophone) and Cyro Baptista (percussion) - through electrifying big band arrangements of his classic songs, replete with big horns and dazzling Brazilian percussive stylings.
Original Boardwalk Style features over 75 minutes of music, remixed from the multitrack masters by Trey and Ben Collette at Rubber Jungle Studios and mastered by Fred Kevorkian at Kevorkian Mastering. In addition to CD and digital download formats, the album will be available as a double-gatefold, audiophile grade 180-gram LP Vinyl pressing.

July 6, 1998 is the second of two shows Phish played at the Lucerna Theatre, an old theater turned into a music club located a few flights below street level in the Nove Mesto section of Prague. This show entwines music from the album "The Story of The Ghost" with Phish classics in a non-stop, hard-rocking performance elevated by its unique location and intimate setting.
Phish's performance from the Lucerna Theatre in Prague, Czech Republic, fully mastered from Paul Languedoc's 2-track soundboard reference DATs, is available now in both of our normal digital download formats, MP3 and FLAC, as well as on CD (packaged in an innovative and earth friendly, fully recycled folding softcase-pak). You can pick it up from both Phish Dry Goods and the LivePhish.com.
Phish Dry Goods has a handful of Europe '98 goodies available, including a Tour T-Shirt and Poster. Click here to Czech it out or to purchase. -
