Trey Anastasio will be one of the headliners of the 2007 Langerado Festival, held in southern Florida this March 9th-11th. Tickets go on sale December 1st. Trey's Friday night 10/27 show at Vegas' Orleans Arena is now available for download at LivePhish.com. Celebrating the release of his new studio album Bar 17, Trey embarks on a fourteen date fall tour across the U.S. this Fall. The Trey Anastasio Band line up will include Tony Hall, Raymond Weber, Ray Paczkowski, Christina Durfee and Jennifer Hartswick.

The tour features three two-nighters in some very intimate rooms including The Vic in Chicago, Boulder's Fox Theater and New York City's Webster Hall. The Webster Hall shows, on October 8th and 9th, will mark the release of Bar 17 and the launch of Trey's new arts initiative as part of his Seven Below Fund. The fund's purpose is to further arts education in Vermont and will include an artists-in-residence component using The Barn and will also feature outreach to support arts education for children. We're pleased to announced the launch of single track-by-track downloads at LivePhish.com. You can now sample every track from extensive Live Phish archives and purchase MP3 downloads of single songs under 12 minutes for 99 cents. Track-by-track downloads give fans the ability to create their own compilations of their favorite Phish tunes. Full shows are still available at $9.95 for MP3s or $12.95 for FLAC files.

In addition, The White Tape is now available for download as single track MP3s or as a whole album in MP3 and FLAC at LivePhish.com for the first time. Soon after forming the band, "Phish" (aka The White Tape) was created from four-track recordings which the band and band members mixed, dubbed and circulated as a demo. It consists of an assortment of four-track recordings from 1984-1985 including four songs recorded by all the existing members of Phish as a band: Alumni Blues, AC/DC Bag, Slave To The Traffic Light and Dog Gone Dog (a/k/a Dog Log). The balance was recorded separately by the band members and blended together from 4-track cassettes to create the album as we know it. Trey has said The White Tape exemplifies, perhaps more than any other studio effort, the band's unbridled creative freedom of the day. The White Tape highlights Phish's early development with ethereal soundscapes and interesting sketches on Phish's classics-to-be such as an acoustic The Divided Sky as it existed then and even an acapella rendering of You Enjoy Myself.

In 1998, The White Tape was re-mastered from the 2-track cassette master and sold as the first CD from the band's extensive archives through Phish Dry Goods. In 1999 The White Tape was released as a full-album download from EMusic.com, bundled with the previously-unreleased early studio track, "The Curtain (With)." The original art for the cassette demo was created by Trey himself and was updated for the CD release by artist Jim Pollock. To commemorate the release of The White Tape download, Jim also created, hand-printed and signed 100 limited-edition posters. A snapshot in time, The White Tape is a must-have for any fan and a perfect introduction to the band's studio work.

Live in Brooklyn, a brand new 2-DVD set and 3-CD audio soundtrack (available separately) is now available for pre-order from Phish Dry Goods. All pre-orders will include "Greetings from Coney Island," a free bonus CD exclusively available from Dry Goods that includes selections from the 6/17/04 sound check and 6/18/04 concert. Phish will release Live in Brooklyn, a brand new 2-DVD set and 3-CD audio soundtrack (available separately) in stores July 11th on JEMP Records/Rhino.

Shot in breathtaking high-definition video, with 5.1 surround sound, the deluxe 2-DVD set features the entire June 17th, 2004 show (two sets of music) and bonus material, including excerpts from soundcheck, backstage footage, and "Taste, "Bug", and "Tweezer Reprise" from the following night's show. The concert footage was directed and edited by Eli Tishberg, a veteran of several Phish projects, including the IT DVD, Live In Vegas DVD and Hard Rock Live (5/23/00 Roseland).

The CD soundtrack - which will be sold separately - consists of the entire first night on 3-CDs, remixed and mastered from the band's digital multitrack tapes.

Live in Brooklyn marks the first full, uncut concert DVD by Phish since the 2002 release of "Live in Vegas" and is the first full show to be presented on 2 DVDs for maximum fidelity and resolution. The 6/17 Brooklyn show was simulcast live in movie theaters nationwide - the DVD release includes all footage from the simulcast, re-edited for the best possible viewing experience.

For the first time, Trey and Mike are hitting the road together for over three weeks of dates, including a double bill with Phil Lesh & Friends for ten shows beginning June 28 in Raleigh, NC. On Thursday night, 4/20 in New York City, Phish received a Jammy Award for "Best Archival Release" for New Year's Eve 1995 - Live at Madison Square Garden, which was released in December and is widely regarded as one of Phish's finest live performances. The Jammy culminates months of acclaim for the 3-disc set, including rave reviews from Entertainment Weekly, Blender, Newsweek. Phish's New Year's Eve 1995 performance was named one of the "Greatest Concerts of the '90s" by Rolling Stone.

This is the band's sixth Jammy award in as many years, having previously been recognized for: "Live Set of the Year" for 12/31/99, Big Cypress, FL; "Studio Album of the Year" for Farmhouse; "Live Performance of the Year" for 7/11/00, Deer Creek; "Best Archival Release" for Live Phish 11; "Tour of the Year" for their 2003 summer tour; and "DVD Release of the Year" for Phish IT.

Phish bassist Mike Gordon won a Jammy award for "Studio Album of the Year" for Sixty Six Steps, his collaboration with guitar virtuoso Leo Kottke, and was on hand to accept both Phish's Jammy and his own.

In addition to Phish and Mike's awards, Trey's early 2005 guest appearance with moe. was also recognized as moe. took the Jammy for "Best Live Performance" for their 2/10/05 NYC Tsunami Relief Benefit featuring Trey, Sam Bush, John Medeski, Jen Hartswick and Ray Paczkowski. The award-winning show raised over $150,000.

Mike and a handful of Vermont's finest twangers, a/k/a Ramble Dove, will hit the Northeast late this Spring before heading to Bonnaroo later in June. They'll be taking the cozy confines of Burlington, VT's Honky Tonk Tuesdays to the road with stops in NY, MA, and CT, in addition to their June 2nd "Honky Tonk The Vote" Benefit concert for Bernie Sanders in Burlington, VT (with guests Jon Fishman and Grace Potter).

Of special note in this mini-run is the June 4 appearance at the second annual Mountain Jam, a two-day festival held at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY. Jon Fishman will be performing at the Third Annual Pangaea Project Benefit Concerts at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR on Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15, 2006 as part of The Everyone Orchestra. Last year's event raised over $16,000 for The Pangaea Project which engages teenagers from underserved neighborhoods in local and international service-learning projects by promoting the development of leadership skills, increasing global awareness, and fostering a commitment to work towards social change.

Nominations for the 6th Annual Jammy Award were announced yesterday and Phish received a nomination in the Archival Release of the Year category with Phish New Year's Eve 1995 - Live at Madison Square Garden. "Another Side of In," a collaborative installation that Mike and his mother, Marjorie Minkin have been working on together for the last several years, will make its gallery debut on March 10th at the Firehouse Gallery in Burlington, Vermont, running through April 30th. Minkin created her abstract, Lexan pieces to visually represent Gordon's ambient audio textures extracted from his 2003 album Inside In. The audio is triggered by viewer's movements in the gallery to create a continually shifting soundscape.

The exhibition will provide a stimulating opportunity for viewers to interact with the installation on a variety of levels. There will be an opening reception for Another Side of In on Friday, March 10 from 5-8pm and an Artist Talk/Q&A session on Saturday, March 11 at 2pm. Both events are open to the public.

Phish, JEMP Records, and Rhino are pleased to present an encore presentation of "New Year's Eve 1995 with Phish," a radio special that originally aired December 31st on several FM stations across the country, streaming at Live Phish Radio. The New Year's Eve Extravaganza features several complete tracks from the recent New Year's Eve 1995 - Live At Madison Square Garden CD as well as exclusive conversations with Jon Fishman and Mike Gordon, re-living their New Year's Eve 1995 experience.

To celebrate the launch of the video download service and the release of their New Year’s Eve 1995 concert, Phish is offering a New Year’s gift in the form of a free video download of their New Year’s countdown complete with their Gamehendge Time Phactory, the traditional “Auld Lang Syne” and a jaw-dropping rendition of the band’s classic “Weekapaug Groove.” The free download will be available from LivePhish.com until January 15. Live Phish Videos are offered song by song for $1.99 each and are compatible with Apple’s popular iPod video player as well as all PC and Mac video players.

To ensure playback across PCs and portable devices, Live Phish Videos are encoded in industry-standard MPEG-4 and do not use any digital rights management schemes. The videos will play on any player that supports MPEG-4. On a Mac or Windows PC, Live Phish Videos will play in Apple’s iTunes and Quicktime players, Windows Media Player, or Real Player, as well as virtually all third party video players. Users can freely transfer videos onto popular portable video players, including Apple’s video iPod and the Creative Zen Vision.
