Phish Dry Goods is cleaning up the warehouse with an End of the Year Blowout Sale. Prices have been slashed on numerous products, including left over Summer Tour shirts, Coventry merchandise, and an array of hard goods.
Along with our clean up sale we have found a cache of old posters from yesteryear that will also be available. These posters have not been available for many years, dating back to the Prague 1997 admat, the infamous Assface Poster (who ARE those guys?), and even a few Pollock Clown prints from the Clifford Ball. We also have a very small number of limited edition posters remaining from the summer tour, as well as some Pollock Coventry posters.
The 2005 Phish Calendar in stock and ready for walls everywhere. It has 25 photos of the band, most from the past year.
The sale is on NOW. Quantities and sizes are extremely limited so don't dally. The limited edition posters will go on sale Monday at 3PM EST.

PHISH is pleased to announce the donation of eight pieces of concert art and memorabilia from its archives to benefit two non-profit organizations in their hometown of Burlington, VT. The recipients of the art pieces, Burlington City Arts (BCA) and the South End Business and Arts Association (SEABA), will auction off the art starting November 8th.
Six of the eight pieces are signs created as part of PHISH's "IT" festival held August 2 + 3, 2003 in Limestone, Maine. The signs were part of an elaborate art installation known as "Sunk City", a lost city of sorts, located in the forested area behind the concert venue. Sunk City depicted an urban cityscape where only the tops of once tall builds still emerged from an overgrown forest. Sunk City, and the signs being offered for auction are memorialized in a recent PBS special and the 2-DVD "IT" set, which was just released in stores. The pieces were later displayed at SEABA's South End Burlington Art Hop in 2003 and 2004.
The other two pieces were props used at "COVENTRY", Phish's last festival, held August 14 + 15, 2004 in Coventry, Vermont. They were later displayed at SEABA's South End Burlington Art Hop in 2004.
The IT pieces were designed by Burlington artists Lars Fisk and Scott Campbell with wording provided by Phish bassist Mike Gordon. The Coventry pieces were designed by Lars Fisk, Scott Lenhardt, and John Marius aka "Yolk".
The ten-day auction will begin on Monday, November 8th at noon PST and run through noon PST on Thursday, November 18th at Yahoo! Auctions. The auction site is located here:
http://user.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/show/auctions?userID=waterwheelfoundation&u=%3awaterwheelfoundation . Specific questions about the pieces can be addressed to: wwauctioninfo@phish.com.
The items for bid are as follows:
1. "U Knead It" Sign from Sunk City at IT
2. "Squeez It" sign from Sunk City at IT
3. "Look" sign from Sunk City at IT
4. "Here Now" sign from Sunk City at IT
5. "Fiz-Nit" sign from Sunk City at IT
6. "The Rit-z Ho(tel)" sign from Sunk City at IT
7. "Chicken Bike" moving sculpture from Coventry
8. "Pimped Out Portalet" accessorized portalet on trailer from Coventry
As mentioned above, all of the IT art pieces are featured in the program and packaging for "PHISH: IT" the 2-DVD set chronicling the festival. The DVD set includes the original 90-minute feature program that aired on PBS in August, plus over 150 extra minutes of additional uncut performance footage, additional interview segments and an extensive photo gallery. We're pleased to announce Vida Blue's first live DVD: VIDA BLUE AND THE SPAM ALLSTARS -- LIVE AT THE FILLMORE will be released on November 30, 2004.
As a 21-year old pitcher for the Oakland A's, Vida Blue burst on to the scene in 1971, winning the American League's MVP and Cy Young awards. Flash forward to 2001, as Phish keyboardist Page McConnell forms VIDA BLUE, a dynamic trio with bassist Oteil Burbridge and drummer Russell Batiste. At the same time, Page launches Team Vida Blue, specializing in stock-car racing and demolition derby. In 2003, Page is introduced to The Spam Allstars, Miami's hottest Afro-Cuban DJ sextet, and they joined forces in the studio and on the road.
This DVD - a sold out show at San Francisco's legendary Fillmore - captures all of these worlds at once: the combined ten-piece ensemble onstage plus an appearance from pitcher Vida Blue as he shows up to meet the band for the first time. Tying it all together is Team Vida Blue footage - the thrills and spills of smash-up derby action and the 2004 Enduro Race from Vermont's Thunder Road racetrack.
The DVD is now available for pre-order at Phish Dry Goods. To order, go to http://www.phish.com/drygoods/home/category.html?cid=19 . While supplies last, everyone who orders through Phish Dry Goods will receive a bonus DVD: TEAM VIDA BLUE -- THE EARLY YEARS, a 40-minute in-depth look at Page's foray into the world of demolition derby and car racing. The footage, set to a soundtrack of Vida Blue music, includes three consecutive years of the demo derby at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, VT as well as the 2004 Enduro Race at Thunder Road, a two-hundred lap race around a quarter-mile track in which almost anything goes.

The rain continues to fall steadily here in the Northeast Kingdom, and the forecast calls for steady rain all day tomorrow. The festival staff is working as hard as they can to move cars off the road and into the campgrounds, but the weather has greatly hindered this process, and traffic is considerably backed up.
For those of you who have not yet departed for COVENTRY, we strongly urge you to not approach the site until Saturday morning or at least Friday night. It’s greatly in your interest to delay your arrival – you will save yourself a great deal of stress and time and help us keep the roads safe. Finally, please call friends that you know may be heading to Coventry and help us spread the word. -

We've received a number of emails concerning the reentry policy at PHISH's upcoming COVENTRY simulcast happening next weekend at select Regal, Edwards and United Artists movie theatres. The policy goes like this: Coventry will have two intermissions between the three sets. Simulcast ticket holders will be allowed to exit the theatre and re-enter as many times as you like providing you show your hand stamp AND ticket stub upon re-entry. Please make sure you receive a hand stamp BEFORE exiting the theatre. The intermission between the first and second set will be between 60 and 80 minutes, and the intermission between the second and third sets will run anywhere from 40-50 minutes.
The live simulcast will be broadcast in high-definition video and Dolby surround sound on both days of the event. The show will be broadcast on Saturday August 14 and Sunday August 15 live at 5:30 PM ET, 4:30 PM CT, 3:30 PM MT, and 2:30 PM PT.
A full list of participating theatres follows below -- sold-out shows are listed as such. Tickets are $20.00 and are on sale now at http://regalcm.com as well as individual box offices. A service charge may apply when buying online, but there is no service charge when purchased at the box office. Taping and use of cameras and videocameras will be strictly prohibited. Keep in mind that not all theatres will be offering the simulcast on both days. Theatres are a smoke free area. Please be courteous and understand that smoking will not be permitted in the theatres at any time.
As some new high-definition theatre systems are being installed and coming online, we hope to announce potential screenings in additional cities early next week.

Jim Pollock will be making the final limited edition festival poster for Coventry. Due to the expected large demand for this poster, we will NOT be selling these (or any other limited edition poster) at Coventry. Instead, they will only be available online from Phish Dry Goods. As it's the last tour poster we want to do our best to ensure that everyone who wants one will be able to get one. The size of the print run will be determined by the number of orders that are received. We will print as many posters as are ordered by Friday July 30 OR until we hit the maximum number (dictated by the printing press and Jim Pollock's ability to sign them).
The poster is designed, printed and signed by Jim Pollock. Art for the posters is hand-carved on linoleum blocks and printed on a Heidelberg Letterpress. The posters will be numbered by Dry Goods. To order go to http://www.phish.com/drygoods/home/category.html?cid=19 -
We received over 1,000 entries from around the world which we painstakingly narrowed down to two final contenders. After hours of deliberation and a heated game of Rock Paper Scissors we declared it a tie. So raise your arms Alexander Michael Berg of Cohasset, MA and Chuck Anderson of Thousand Oaks, CA because you both win the title of Coventry T-shirt Design Contest Winner! Their inspired designs remain under lock and key until their unveiling at the festival.
The spirited entry by Casey "CaseyBoy" Fosbenner and David "David" Seidman from Pennsylvannia was a close second. While not available on a t-shirt, their design has been chosen to grace the cover of a Coventry postcard (available at the festival onsite Post Office).
A handful of the runner up entries are on display for your viewing pleasure in the North Wing of Phish.com. Check 'em out at http://www.phish.com/galleries . Thanks to everyone who submitted a design. -
The onsite radio stations at Phish festivals have changed from year to year (how could you forget Lemonwheel's "The Badger" or "Thin Air" down in Big Cypress?). but "The Bunny" proved to be such an enduring moniker that it will be standing tall again in Coventry, broadcast on 92.1 FM in the 15 or so miles around Coventry, and 99.3 FM in St. Johnsbury further south. The Bunny will be pumping out an eclectic mix of great music, traffic reports, event updates, interviews with fans and festival crew, a double session of Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro's "From The Archives" programs, late night audio freakouts and of course all of Phish's sets. The Bunny airs 24 hours a day beginning Thursday, August 12 at 9 AM through Monday, August 16 at 2 PM. Don't forget the boombox.
If you're not coming to Coventry, you can still be comforted by the soothing sounds of The Bunny. XM Satellite Radio will be broadcasting not only all of Phish's six sets, but simulcasting 48 hours of The Bunny as well. You can hear the broadcast from anywherein the United States on the XM Live and XM Music Lab channels beginning at 6 AM ET on Saturday, August 14 through 6 AM ET on Monday, August 16. We'll be emailing details next week on a special discounted rate available to Phish fans to get an XM radio. You must be on the PHISH UPDATE list to get this info. For more information on XM, check out http://xmradio.com -
As all of you know, Coventry will be our last shows and we couldn't be happier to be playing them in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Many people consider the Northeast Kingdom to be the "real" Vermont - a region of unspoiled rural beauty and small, tight-knit communities.
There are a few important issues that we wanted to address directly to all of you. First, and most importantly, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A TICKET, PLEASE DON'T COME TO COVENTRY. Second, please carpool - it saves gas, decreases traffic congestion and will allow everyone a little more elbow room in the campground. Third, please make every effort to leave the place spotless. We'll be providing garbage bags upon entry and throughout the campground, but we ask that you bring your own as well and pack out as much as you can. Much of the campground is on farmland usually reserved for grazing cattle or growing corn. It was extraordinary how clean the grounds were left after Big Cypress, and we're hoping these campgrounds can be treated with similar care. Last, we ask that you be considerate to the local residents and their property. These folks are welcoming us into their community and putting up with a considerable amount of inconvenience in doing so - please show your thanks by respecting their space.
The Coventry site was chosen and tickets put on sale before our decision and subsequent announcement that the Vermont shows would be our last live performances. As a result, demand for tickets has far exceeded original expectations and the festival has been sold out for weeks. In an effort to make the music available to those of you without tickets, we have made arrangements for various live simulcasts. XM Satellite Radio will not only be carrying the six scheduled sets but also will air The Bunny, Coventry's own radio station, from 6 am Saturday morning until 6 am Monday morning. We will also be transmitting a High Definition video feed of all six sets to select Regal movie theatres around the country.
Coventry is receiving a great deal of attention in the media already and will receive more as the event draws near. This is our last chance to show the rest of the world what makes the Phish community so unique. We love living in Vermont and plan to do so for many years to come. The greatest gift each of you can give the four of us as we move on to the next phase of our lives would be to do your part to help leave a positive lasting impression with the people of our home state.
Thanks,
Trey, Fish, Mike and Page -
After the extremely well-received theater simulcast of PHISH's June 17 concert from Coney Island, we are pleased to announce that we will be simulcasting Coventry in its entirety at select Regal, Edwards and United Artists movie theatres. The live simulcast will be broadcast in high-definition video and Dolby surround sound on both days of the event.
We are still finalizing details regarding exact theatre locations and ticket onsale information and hope to announce this early next week. Please keep in mind that the theatres will vary from those that showed the Coney Island concert. Tickets to each day's simulcast will be sold as separate events. -
We are pleased to announce that we will be auctioning off approximately 20 pairs of tickets to Coventry each week for four weeks beginning Tuesday, July 13 at Yahoo! Auctions. All proceeds above face value for these tickets will be donated to The Waterwheel Foundation, created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band's various charitable activities. All monies raised from these auctions will be distributed by Waterwheel to Vermont non-profits. Auctions can be found at http://auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/booth/waterwheelfoundation
In other Coventry news, we have launched an official Coventry web site at http://www.phish.com/coventry . We've posted the first wave of information about the festival and plan to update it regularly as details get confirmed.
Tickets for Coventry are completely sold out. We will not be releasing any additional tickets at any time. -
Announcing the second-and-last-ever Phish T-Shirt Design contest. Design a T-shirt for "COVENTRY", the band's two-day festival in northern Vermont and you could win two tickets and hospitality passes to the sold out event. You'll also receive five of the winning shirts and the pleasure of your design commemorating Phish's last performances together.
Submissions must be sent digitally (EPS or JPEG preferred, under 2 megabytes please, but the art can be compressed for submission purposes) to coventrycontest@phish.com . All submissions must be sent in by Friday, July 16 at NOON EST. Be sure to include your full name and a way to reach you by phone day and evening. While it's not necessary, we suggest that you put the words "Phish" and "COVENTRY" somewhere on your design. However, you may not use any Phish or "COVENTRY" logos in your design. Both front and back designs are welcome, but not necessary -- just a front will suffice as an entry. By entering the contest, you acknowledge full and unconditional acceptance and agreement of the Contest Rules: Click here for Contest Rules. -
An exclusive track, "Tiny" is available as a free bonus track when you purchase Phish's new studio album UNDERMIND directly from the iTunes Music Store. The song, edited by Page, came out of a in-studio jam session while the band was recording Undermind. You can link directly to the track here (if you have iTunes installed on your Mac or PC)

When Phish plays the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night, they will perform from the top of the Ed Sullivan Theatre marquee (about two stories up from the street) at 53rd and Broadway in New York City. The band will perform their first song at the end of the Letterman taping. After the show ends, the band will perform an additional 20-25 minutes for fans.
The best place to watch the band perform will be on the far side of the street opposite from the Ed Sullivan Theater. The band will not perform UNTIL 6:25 PM. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP ANY EARLIER THAN 6:15 PM. -
COVENTRY is officially sold out.
There will be NO tickets sold at the gates. People without tickets will be turned away. Unless all passengers in a vehicle have tickets, the vehicle will be turned away.
To those who have purchased tickets, please discourage those without tickets from coming to COVENTRY. Ticket-less travelers compound the traffic congestion, add unnecessary stress to our staff, the police and the local community and ultimately diminish the quality of everyone’s experience.
We cannot emphasize enough the value of carpooling to COVENTRY. In addition to conserving precious camping space, we can collectively make a truly positive environmental statement.
Thank you.

We're pleased to announce several new additions to Live Phish Downloads, including a new release from the Phish Archives from 1993, pre-orders of the upcoming Phish Summer Tour, and pre-orders for Trey Anastasio's and Vida Blue's upcoming Bonnaroo performances.
* FROM THE ARCHIVES: Phish's May 8, 1993 concert at the University of New Hampshire in Durham capped a seventy-show tour supporting the band's fourth studio album, Rift. Closing their epic 1993 spring tour and effectively the band's theater era, Durham was a crossroads at the midpoint of Phish's career. Set one features a rare Stash>Kung>Stash and an extremely uncommon performance of one-time live standard Satin Doll, before which Trey pauses to thank the hard-working crew for their help on the tour. Set two begins with a tease of the Allman Brothers Band's Jessica>David Bowie>Have Mercy>Bowie and concludes with a Mike's Song>Crossroads>Weekapaug Groove. Also included with this release is a special photo gallery and essay by Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro.
NEW FROM THE PHISH ARCHIVES http://www.livephish.com/show.asp?show=351
* The entire Phish Summer Tour 2004 is now available for pre-order at a special price. Individual shows from the thirteen night tour are also available as a-la-carte purchases. The six-set festival in Coventry is available as part of the tour package or as a specially priced package for the entire weekend's worth of music.

Dear friends,
As we wind down the Phish career, it is done with both great joy and great sadness. The joy comes from remembering the incredibly good times we’ve experienced, the successes we’ve enjoyed, and knowing that even in our closing we are honoring the band. The sadness is obviously driven by the fact that something I love will not be a part of my life anymore. To me, we have been the greatest band in the world and have had the greatest fans ever.
I still love the music we make but the situation feels different to me now. I guess in my heart I’ve known for a while that something had to change, but it wasn’t until this last weekend that my feelings really began to coalesce. I’m old enough now that I am able to look to the future without feeling that I need to balance it with my past. I find it ironic that half of my life has to go by before I am able to focus solely on the future. As a member of a successful rock band, it seems that every aspect of my profession encourages me to extend my youth as long as possible. Don’t get me wrong, I like feeling young, but more importantly I need to be honest with myself.
The pressures and schedule of this work can take its toll personally as well as creatively. As someone who has recently been through a divorce, I know how traumatic change can be. But, I also know that if you are able to let go of things and embrace change there is the potential for incredible personal (and creative) growth.
If I sound unusually candid in this statement, I am able to do so because in my mind I’ve already moved on to the next phase of my life. This is a feeling I believe I share with Trey. I have a four-year-old daughter and there is nothing more important to me than being with her. Come August, I’m not going to have to tell her how many days ‘til daddy comes back from tour. Combine that with my perception that the band’s vitality is not what it once was, and it’s easy to see how my mind quickly begins to move in one direction instead of a hundred directions all at the same time.
I will miss it incredibly, but I have no regrets. The pride that I feel for the band, our fans, the organization and all of our collective accomplishments is overwhelming. I love you all and know that we wouldn’t be here without you.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Page McConnell -

Last Friday night, I got together with Mike, Page and Fish to talk openly about the strong feelings I've been having that Phish has run its course and that we should end it now while it's still on a high note. Once we started talking, it quickly became apparent that the other guys' feelings, while not all the same as mine, were similar in many ways -- most importantly, that we all love and respect Phish and the Phish audience far too much to stand by and allow it to drag on beyond the point of vibrancy and health. We don't want to become caricatures of ourselves, or worse yet, a nostalgia act. By the end of the meeting, we realized that after almost twenty-one years together we were faced with the opportunity to graciously step away in unison, as a group, united in our friendship and our feelings of gratitude.
So Coventry will be the final Phish show. We are proud and thrilled that it will be in our home state of Vermont. We're also excited for the June and August shows, our last tour together. For the sake of clarity, I should say that this is not like the hiatus, which was our last attempt to revitalize ourselves. We're done. It's been an amazing and incredible journey. We thank you all for the love and support that you've shown us.
-- Trey Anastasio -
The good people at Atlantic Records have created an e-card that allows you to hear several tracks streamed from Phish's upcoming studio album UNDERMIND, including "The Connection", "A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing" and "Scents and Subtle Sounds". PHISH will end their 2004 Summer Tour with a two-day festival, COVENTRY. The event will take place August 14th and 15th on the grounds of the Newport State Airport and adjacent fields in the rural town of Coventry, Vermont. COVENTRY is the band's first-ever home state festival, and first public outdoor Vermont appearance since 1995.
Located amidst the rolling hills and lush green valleys of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, COVENTRY will be Phish's seventh "city-size" festival, with an expected turnout that will qualify it as Vermont's most populated city for the weekend of August 14th and 15th. As with all prior Phish festivals, COVENTRY will see the band performing three live sets each day, with on-site camping as well as numerous attractions and art installations created by teams of talented artists and performers.

Trey Anastasio and Dave Matthews' trip to Dakar, Senegal this past January is documented in an hour-long program and will premier on VH1 on May 8 at 10 PM EST. In the program, Trey and Dave journey to the capital city for a cross-cultural exchange with seminal West African band Orchestra Baobab. Trey and Dave toured around Senegalese capital city Dakar, attended an Africa Cup soccer match (where Senegal edged out South Africa 2-1), gave an acoustic performance off the coast of Dakar on Goree Island, watched singer Baaba Maal perform an intimate show (Trey called it "one of the best concert experiences of my life") and then rehearsed and performed with Orchestra Baobab at "Yengoulene", a small club in Dakar.
Log on to http://VH1.com now to see exclusive photos of the journey, read an interview with Trey and Dave, and watch exclusive group performance footage with Orchestra Baobab, including Phish's "Bouncing Around The Room."
In related news, Trey joined Orchestra Baobab for the last part of their set last Sunday night at Higher Ground in Winooski, Vermont on the closing night of the Vermont landmark nightclub. Earlier on Sunday, at a reception Trey hosted for Orchestra Baobab at The Barn, he presented the two guitarists, Barthelemy Attiso and Latfi Ben Geloune, with a gift of two specially customized Languedoc guitars.

On May 31, 2003, Trey Anastasio played the second of two sold-out shows at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre. On that night, Carlos Santana dropped by to say hello to Trey, ended up joining the ten-piece band on stage halfway through the first set, and continued to play with the group for the remainder of the night. The results were electric, suffused with spontaneous energy and exuberant interplay between the two guitarists.
As fate would have it, this once-in-a-lifetime performance was documented by a small video crew who were experimenting with a new production technique. The show's blistering second set, plus a bonus track of "The Way I Feel" from the show's first set will be released on DVD on April 26.
All net proceeds from the DVD will be split evenly between The Waterwheel Foundation and the Milagro Foundation, a non-profit founded by Deborah and Carlos Santana that serves underrepresented and underprivileged children in the areas of arts, health and education around the world.
The DVD is available exclusively from Phish Dry Goods and from the online Santana Store. Ordering is now available from Phish Dry Goods and will be available from Santana's web site beginning early next week. Orders will be shipped beginning the last week of April.
The track list is as follows:
1. Mr. Completely
2. John the Revelator
3. Night Speaks to a Woman
4. Caravan
Bonus track: The Way I Feel
The DVD also features a photo gallery by photographer Jay Blakesberg and the MX Switch "wide-shot" option. Approximate Running Time: 84 minutes. The DVD is formatted for all regions in NTSC video.

We've spent the past couple weeks in the shop tweaking and streamlining the new and improved LivePhish.com. The latest version of the site features several enhancements, most notably Live Phish Radio, a 24x7 stream from the LivePhish.com catalog. We are also including a featured show on the home page. There's no formula for choosing this show - it's simply a show that we feel deserves special attention, or in some cases a second listen.
The upcoming Las Vegas run on April 15-17 is now available for pre-order. All three shows can be purchased at the special package price of $26.95 for MP3 and $34.95 for FLAC.
We're working on a new archival release and hope to have it ready by mid-May.
Remember, all of Phish's net profits from your livephish.com purchases are donated directly to The Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit organization founded and run by Phish fans that supports music education for children. For more information, please visit http://mockingbirdfoundation.org

PHISH heads back into the studio today to record a new studio album. For this project, they've recruited renowned producer and engineer Tchad Blake. His discography is prolific, but for a sampling of Tchad's work, check out Los Lobos' "Kiko", The Bad Plus' "These Are the Vistas", Cibo Matto's "Viva! La Woman", and Tom Waits' "Bone Machine". The band plans to record in The Barn throughout the month of February and is tentatively scheduled to mix the album at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in England in mid-March. The album, as yet untitled, is expected to be released in mid-June.

TREY ANASTASIO will release "Seis de Mayo", an album of all-instrumental compositions written and recorded over the past couple of years, on April 6 on Elektra Records. The seven tracks are performed by a variety of ensembles -- string quartets, brass quintets, small and full orchestras -- and though some of the titles may be familiar to Phish fans, the settings are radically different. The orchestral version of "Guyute", debuted by the Vermont Youth Orchestra two years ago, is performed on "Seis" by Seattlemusic, a 66-piece orchestra. "Prologue" -- previously integrated into Phish's "Pebbles and Marbles" -- performed here as the orchestral miniature Anastasio originally scored in his basement. "The Inlaw Josie Wales", a solo guitar piece from Farmhouse, has been reconfigured for guitar and string quartet. The introduction to "Discern" has been restored to its intended horn-based format. And "All Things Reconsidered," first heard on Phish's "Rift", is at last a fugue for string quartet. In addition, "Andre the Giant" opens the album with Trey on guitar, Mike Gordon on bass, performing with musicians playing the djembe and balifon, an African gourd instrument that sounds something like a marimba. "Coming To" is an orchestral Dixieland fantasio for horns and strings.
The album will be available for pre-order the beginning of March. -

We are pleased to announce the release of two new shows on LIVEPHISH.COM, a show taken from Mike Gordon's Inside In tour last October, as well as a hot-off-the-presses Vida Blue date, from St. Petersburg, FL just five days ago.

In addition to playing material off both Vida Blue albums, the set also showcases two Spam Allstars tracks and a Fishman-enhanced "Cars Trucks Buses" in the encore.
The Mike Gordon show (Avalon, Boston, MA, 10/15/03) was the penultimate stop of his brief nine-date run last fall. The eight-piece band covers a lot of ground, from material off of the "Inside In" and "Clone" albums to original material from band members Gordon Stone, James Harvey and Josh Roseman to a Ricky Skaggs cover.
