Recorded in New York City, the as-yet-untitled record is Phish's first studio album in five years and its second with producer Steve Lillywhite, who produced the band's 1996 album, Billy Breathes. Remember that this is an early show with a 6:30PM start time, so plan accordingly. There is a strict no tailgating/no vending policy at Fenway, and we ask that you respect that.

As most of you are probably well aware, the show is completely sold-out. If you don't have tickets, we ask that you please refrain from going to the venue in hopes of getting one. Even if no ticketless fans show up, sold-out Phish shows are high impact events that strain the city's normal daily flow. Add ticketless fans to the equation and the situation can quickly become overwhelming to the local community. Thanks in advance for respecting the Phish scene.

Earlier this afternoon, Kristy Manning, Trey's sister, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was one of Phish's first fans and biggest supporters. In recent years, Kristy helped form and lead Trey's non-profit endeavor, The Seven Below Arts Initiative.

Kristy was a loving sister, mother, wife, daughter, friend, and a role model for all. Her positive attitude, strength of character and continued outpouring of love and support left a profound impact on everyone she knew.

She will truly be missed.

Time Turns Elastic, a ground-breaking work for vocals, guitar and orchestra composed by Trey and Don Hart, is available for pre-order now at both Phish Dry Goods and Trey's online store. The piece is available on CD in Limited Edition deluxe packaging (once this version is sold out, it will revert to standard jewel-case packaging). We've also pressed it on 180g Clear Vinyl. Trey and Orchestra Nashville gave Time Turns Elastic its debut performance at the Orchestra's season opener at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium in September 2008. Time Turns Elastic will receive its East Coast premiere on May 21st when Trey joins Music Director Marin Alsop and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for a special evening that will also feature classic Phish songs and solo Anastasio compositions.

Phish has added two additional shows to their 2009 Summer Tour, including a May 31st concert at Boston's historic Fenway Park, and a third night (June 2nd) at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY.

Original Boardwalk Style, a live album from Trey Anastasio and the Undectet, will be released on June 10th on Trey's own Rubber Jungle Records. Proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit the Seven Below Arts Initiative, established by Trey in 2006 to foster artistic development and support arts education in the state of Vermont.

The album was recorded at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ on December 30th and 31st of 2006, coming at the end of the band's holiday tour. Vida Blue's second studio album comes out a week from Tuesday, October 14. "The Illustrated Band" features Page, Russell and Oteil backed by the Spam Allstars throughout. The Allstars, a Miami-based Afro-Cuban sextet, have been playing a monthly residency, "JAMON Y QUESO" at S.O.B's in New York City, which moves from Friday to Monday starting in October.

Phish will play a four-show run beginning Thanksgiving weekend, culminating in a 20th Anniversary performance at Boston's FleetCenter on December 2.

The Boston show comes twenty years to the day of Phish's first performance, at an ROTC dance on the campus of the University of Vermont. While the exact date has been the subject of some dispute over the years, carbon dating, diligent research and a little common sense confirmed that December 2, 1983 was indeed the date of the band's first show.

At the end of December, Phish returns to Florida for a four-night run at American Airlines Arena in Miami, including a three-set New Year's Eve show. The shows are the band's first performances in Florida since their millennium festival at the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation in 1999.

Mike Gordon will play his first-ever solo tour, a 9-date run in support of Inside In, released last month on Ropeadope Records. Kicking off October 5 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, the tour will stop at 8 cities, playing theatres and clubs before concluding on October 16 at New York's Irving Plaza.

The tour will feature a seven piece all-star group handpicked by Gordon that is as eclectic in its instrumentation as it is in personnel. Comprised of longtime Phish collaborators James Harvey on keyboards and Gordon Stone on pedal steel and banjo, as well as trombonist Josh Roseman (Dave Holland, Charlie Hunter), guitarist Scott Murawski (Max Creek), tap dancer and vocalist Jeannie Hill, flutist and vocalist Julee Avallone (Dr. Juice) and drummer Doug Belote (Anders Osborne, Tony Furtado), the band will perform songs from Inside In as well as other material from within and without.

Released August 26, Inside In is the complement to Outside Out, his first full-length feature film.  Recorded at his home studio, all songs on Inside In were written and performed by Gordon and feature a revered collective of guest musicians such as Jon Fishman, Béla Fleck, and Col. Bruce Hampton as well as many others.
