Carpooling

We are hoping to provide everyone with the ability to park and camp next to their vehicle on the grass. Aside from the obvious environmental and economic benefits, carpooling will be an immeasurable help in achieving this goal. There will also be a large parking area for RV's located close to the concert field and gathering area.

As You Approach IT

We recommend that you have at least 1/2 a tank of gas BEFORE you enter the festival grounds. This could save you a lot of trouble on your way out!

Follow the posted signs to It. There are no short cuts, back roads or secret underground tunnels. It is likely that you will find yourself in high volume traffic as you travel to Limestone. If your vehicle comes to a stop, please stay in your car. Don’t get out while in traffic to stretch your legs, play Frisbee, or organize a game of old-fashioned stickball. Please stay in your lane and follow the directions of the police and our staff. Your cooperation in this regard is appreciated as your actions on the roads affect everyone trying to get to and from the festival.

If everyone in the vehicle has a ticket, please give them to the driver to show to our staff upon entering the main gate. This will significantly expedite your check-in procedure. If you need to pick up tickets at will call or have any other ticket-related issues or questions, please follow the staff’s directions to the box office.

For your safety, ALL vehicles will be subjected to a thorough search before being allowed to enter the parking and camping area. And yes, we will be confiscating all Hall and Oates CDs.

When driving to and from the festival, be certain to obey Maine highway safety laws. Be advised that speed limits and open container laws will be strictly enforced on all roads.

A Note about WILDLIFE:
The area to the east of the main runway has recently been designated a National Wildlife Refuge. Please respect it by not camping on, wandering in, making fun of or in any way disturbing this habitat.

Moose are very present in northern Maine. Please be careful driving, especially at night. When car meets moose, moose wins. When moose meets squirrel, hilarity ensues.

ADDITIONAL CAMPING INFO: In order to comply with Maine law regarding the protection of the upland sandpiper, a threatened bird that nests in high grass along runways, we are not permitted to cut the grass in the camping areas prior to the festival. As we anticipate there may be some tall grass in some areas.

Day Parking

For safety reasons, vehicles in the camping areas will not be permitted to move during the festival once they have been parked. If you plan to stay off site or otherwise have need to use your vehicle during the festival, please inform the parking and security staff when you arrive at the main gate that you wish to be directed to the day parking area. Please note that each time you re-enter the festival grounds you will be subject to another vehicle inspection.
