Gallery of Past EventsBeginning in the summer of 1996 with The Clifford Ball, Phish's concert festivals have become a tradition. IT will be Phish's sixth festival (Oswego was actually somewhat of a mini-fest, but still counts). For each event, virtual cities have been created from scratch to accommodate all of the fans. It is expected to draw about 60,000 people, making it the second largest city in the state for the weekend. For each festival, the band works closely with a team of art directors, architects and planners to create gathering spaces, art installations and events that stimulate, challenge and entertain concertgoers before, during and after Phish's performances. The galleries below, which you may have seen on the Phish web site, show a small glimpse of each event. Commentary by Cactus Gordon. |
